Building the trust layer for online wagering.

Ficon is building trust infrastructure for real-money competition. Middleman, live now, holds both players' stakes, streams the match and pays the winner. A result check other companies can use is what we are building next.

  1. Stream every match
  2. Verify every result
  3. Settle every payout

Example of the record we are building

  1. Stakes locked$200.00 from each player
  2. Stream linkedTwitch, both players in view
  3. Match startedEA Sports FC 27, 1v1
  4. Full time2–1
  5. Score readFrom the live stream
  6. Payout released$360.00 to the winner
  7. Record storedStake, result and payout

Competing for money online still runs on a handshake between strangers.

Players agree on a stake, play the match, and then hope the other side reports the score honestly and pays up. When they don't, there's no evidence, no referee and no way to get the money back. Ficon is building a system to replace that handshake: funds held until the match is settled, the match on record, and a payout that does not depend on the other player deciding to pay.

The trust layer

Five pieces we are building so a result can be trusted without trusting either player. The first of them already run inside Middleman.

Escrow-backed stakes
In Middleman, both sides' money is locked before the match and stays locked until the match is settled. Nobody can walk away with it.
Stream evidence
Middleman matches are streamed on Twitch, so the other player can watch. That footage is the evidence.
AI result verification
Models read the score from the live stream into both apps. Checking a disputed result against that stream is in place. Paying only after a full review of the match is what we are building toward.
Consistent dispute resolution
Either player can dispute a result before the payout. The review uses the stream and the evidence they submit, whoever asks.
Audit-ready logs
Each stake, decision and payout is stored with the match, so the outcome can be traced. A record anyone outside the company can open is part of what we are building.
